Millinery Roses - I have finally been able to get hold of loads of velvet roses at a reasonable price.

Sweet hubby is known as the roses man who always leaves his message of 1 white rose:)
Only thing is the sweet delivery man ( who looks like Santa Claus) said we know your secret now giving me a wink. Wondering if he was meaning the signature white rose I smiled but Hubby bought as many pink roses as my age. gulp ..... how nice dear:)

Love the bumper crop of velvets. You lucky thing - and that skirt ... fabulous. I agree, think big. I did that when I learned to crochet - no small baby things for Hannah but a full size grown-up waistcoat with an intricate pattern for mum! Much more rewarding!

the roses are beautiful. what a romantic hubby. mine is like that too and he used to give me a white rose every valentine's day since that is what he did on our very first.
the last few years he has 'forgotten' the white one but sill lauds me with roses.
love all the fabric roses as well. i have directions for making your own ribbon roses. it is not difficult at all.c
