I heart this

twinkle heart ornament

The hearts are coming out all over the blogosphere. i love hearts just as much as christmas decorations. This is one of my favourites that i made for a lady on blog a few years ago, it was made using the lovely high quality vintage cotton from the feather eiderdowns of the 1930’ with the lovely delicate floral hues that were so popular at that time. I have made quite a few in the past…. we do all love making our hearts… am thinking maybe a big heart next.

Happy Heart making

Hi Viv i used metal coat hangers - it hurts the fingers but is cheaper than buying ready made and means i can shape my heart how i want it too :)
